Plataforma HABITAT is a Spanish association dedicated to raising public awareness and commitment to the conservation, restoration, and rational use of natural resources, as well as to mitigating and adapting to climate change. We encourage active and democratic participation in the planning, management, and governance of urban and rural spaces, aiming for equity, inclusion, and social cohesion. Additionally, we promote innovation and research in the design, construction, and maintenance of sustainable habitats that are efficient, healthy, and environmentally friendly.
Our mission is centered on providing training, advice, and technical support to public administrations, companies, social and educational organizations, and professionals in the field. We generate and disseminate knowledge and best practices through studies, publications, campaigns, events, and other awareness-raising activities. We also offer support and resources to students, parents, and educators on environmental education topics, foster teacher professional development in sustainability, and promote actions to drive the green transition.
